Training for the past year and a half with David allowed me to take a bucket list trip to snorkel in the Galapagos and climb Machu Picchu. Having two bad knees, a weak core and limited upper body strength, I was in no condition to take this physically taxing trip. By consistently working out with David’s supervision, support and encouragement, I have gained strength, flexibility and balance throughout my body. I was able to swim against strong currents in the Galapagos, pull myself up into a pitching boat and walk on jagged surfaces and rocks with confidence. As we toured Peru in extreme altitudes, I walked up and down steep hills, steep stone stairs and cobbled streets for hours. The time spent working out and having David push me to lift heavier weights, do deeper squats and pushups, hold correct planks, maintain challenging balance holds and do high intensity cardio has paid huge dividends in not only living daily life but taking this amazing trip of a lifetime and thoroughly enjoying it despite the physical rigor.

I had spent many years with back problems. Scoliosis, ruptures, degeneration... I saw an excellent chiropractor 2 times per week; but the adjustments would not hold. I dreaded every “normal” activity. I was not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. My Dr. recommended that I seek out an alternative measure to assist me in ways that his practice could not.

Frustrated, humbled and a little depressed I sought out a personal trainer. DAVID. Initially, I did not know where this journey would take me. I felt very weak, awkward and I had LOST confidence.

I made a personal commitment to working with David two times per week; giving myself six months of “TRUE” effort to see if I could perform everyday functions with less pain, weakness and frustration.

Three months into my training I had already seen a difference. My core was beginning to become stronger. Six months into my training, I found that my back was holding my adjustments pretty well. I now saw my chiropractor twice per month; not twice per week.

This year (2020) marks 2 years of David’s excellent, truly tailored training. WELL WORTH IT. I shovel snow, haul pavers, vacuum, move clothes dryers....and the beauty is that I don’t feel my back and legs collapsing under me every day of the week. I no longer take Aleve one or two times per day. I now see my chiropractor every month or two?

I am a stronger person than I was 10 years ago. I am not afraid to move or do anything. I just live my life with more confidence; and with confidence, I AM A HAPPIER PERSON.

I really enjoy your classes each week. Since I am a widow, I need to keep myself as independent physically as long as I can. I have really noticed that my balance has improved and I have greatly increased my strength. I have a marginal left knee and your training has increased its sturdiness. I thank you for all you do!

Your class has given me confidence that I desperately needed. I hiked up to hanging lake this summer which I never would of been able to do. I have a problem with my balance from my stroke, and I am so much better then a year ago. I can climb a ladder if I need to without worrying. I am also so much stronger than before. Living alone is hard enough but now I feel like I am able to take care of so many issues that I couldn’t before.

I have been working with David for two years. During that time I have doubled or tripled my strength. My balance and dynamic movements have improved . Finally with agility improving, I have been able to continue my quest of adventure in the outdoors. Thank you David!

All the nurses at the hospital were amazed at how well I was doing post op following my hip replacement. They felt I was very prepared, and I have you to thank for that.

In less than 1 year of training with Dave I have noticed a number of improvements: I’m able to walk up and down stairs without holding on tightly to the railing with one hand, my balance has improved, I’m able to get out of and into a seated position without any assistance from my arms, I can get up and down from the floor without assistance. I’ve had no back pain and no hip pain and the interval training has improved my stamina a lot.
