Medicine Balls - I use medicine balls for a variety of exercises including:

  • Power Floor and Wall Slams

  • Rotational Exercises

  • Dynamic Core Chops and Lifts

I prefer using the lighter weight balls (6-10 pounds) that enable higher power generation. Rep Fitness is my preferred source for soft medicine balls. Perform Better is an excellent source for bouncing medicine balls. For more info, click on the links below.

Plyometric Box – I use my plyo box to build power with exercises such as single and double leg box jumps.

Instead of buying multiple boxes of varying heights, I recommend investing in a more affordable and space saving 3-1 plyometric boxes offering heights ranging from 16” to 30”. Rep Fitness is my recommended source for plyometric boxes. For more info, click on the link below.

Sled_XPO.jpg

Sled Trainer - A sled is great tool for building speed, power, and lower body strength.

I prefer using a quieter wheeled sled that can be operated on a variety of indoor/outdoor surfaces. I use the XPO Trainer sled from Armored Fitness. This sled includes a motor that resists force. The harder you push the sled, the more resistance, so you can use lower weighted plates to operate the sled. For more info, click on the link below.
